This was a true romance novel, with the main attraction being cute muscles and hunky kisses . . . I mean, cute kisses and hunky muscles. In classic Hallmark-style, the big city girl rejects her boyfriend’s cringe proposal and flees back to her small-town home, where she reconnects with her super hot childhood friend, and after several dramatic scenes about not wanting to risk hurting their hearts again, they get married.
The setting for More Than Friends was unique and fun, diving into the traditions of Chincoteague Island, the wild ponies, and the volunteer ‘saltwater cowboys’ who take care of the herd.
